A collection of projects spanning several data science fields, some of which were in collaboration with colleagues at the IT University of Copenhagen.

My Bachelor's project, where I generalize a measure of ideological polarization in social networks. I tested several candidate methods for extending the measure to more dimensions, beyound for-or-against opinions. I experimentally judged candidate methods' behaviour in several scenarios of changing social networks, finding a preffered multipolar polarization metric.

Evaluating how two semi-supervised learning methods, pseudo-Labeling and augmentation through paraphrasing, affect the performance of a bidirectional LSTM model on named entity recognition.

Pseudo-Labeling and Paraphrasing for Semi-Supervised NER

A movie recommendation system using Network Analysis methods. Bipartite movie rating networks are projected using a new method, which ensures high clustering coefficient and genre homophily. Recommendations are qualitatively asessed to be good and intuitive.
